Welcome to LetOut. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our mobile application and services. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. User Accounts

To use LetOut, you must register using a valid phone number. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• All activities that occur under your anonymous identity (YR ID).
• Ensuring your Date of Birth is entered accurately.

2. Community Guidelines & Conduct

LetOut is a space for free expression, but safety is our priority. You agree NOT to post content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, threatening, or promotes self-harm.
• Contains Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or predatory behavior.
• Harasses, bullies, or targets specific individuals.
• Contains hate speech against protected groups (race, religion, gender, etc.).
• Is spam, repetitive, or strictly commercial advertising.

3. Anonymity & Accountability

While LetOut provides an anonymous experience for users, anonymity is not a license to violate the law. We maintain internal audit logs (for 2 years) that may be used to identify users in response to valid legal requests from law enforcement agencies regarding criminal activity.

4. Content Moderation

We reserve the right to:

• Remove any content that violates these terms.
• Suspend or ban accounts that repeatedly engage in prohibited conduct.
• Disband "Circles" (communities) that foster a culture of harassment.

Users can report any content for review. Reports are typically processed within 24 hours.

5. User-Generated Content License

You retain ownership of your confessions and comments. However, by posting on LetOut, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content within the app for community engagement purposes.

6. Limitation of Liability

LetOut is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of user posts. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetOut and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform or the conduct of other users.

7. Deletion & Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. We may terminate your access immediately if you breach Section 2 of these terms. Upon termination, your active data is removed, but certain logs are retained as per our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
